A New PhaseAnyway, A lot has happened in the ten months that I haven't written. My step-father nearly died, but an emergency surgery saved him. It was scary and I'm glad he's alright.
Last summer I went to A-kon and AnimeFest. I had a great time. I won the Onigiri Award at AnimeFest. It was an honorary award for original skit.
My health is so-so, but I can maintain my weight again. I don't think I really wrote about what happened...it was no big. I just have an acute form of acid reflux disease. It made me lose a lot of weight.
Okay, so on to the great news. I have been accepted to Stephens College. It is a private sub-Ivy League women's school. I will be majoring in Costume Design and will hopefully make more cosplay costumes and sell them. I worked very hard for this, in 9th grade I had a 1.9 so this was no easy accomplishment.
Ben is great. He is looking for colleges and universities everywhere. Last I heard he was looking in Illionois and Missouri. He has qualified for honours college at our small community college, but that doesn't make the accomplishment any less. I'm very happy for him. We do worry about the future, but have decided to take it one day at a time. After all, true love will always find each other. We are pretty open and relxed around each other. He is my best friend. He understands my sexuality and accepts it.
I got in a car accident and no longer have a car. It was pretty bad. Ben drove by and saw my car, he freaked out...poor guy. My sister and I were in the hospita and I swear he was paler than I was.
Anyway, besides lack of car everything is great and going well. Thanks for reading my journals.
